Twilight Dance is an original wool and silk painting from the ‘Along the Loanin’ 2023 collection by Cushla Of Gullion made with hand dyed wools, silks, threads and remnants. A vibrant Irish landscape sunset burning accross the boglands marking the end of a beautiful day.

A celebration of the last captivating rays of light at the end of a long day that transform the fields and hills with saturated colours and silhouetting the hills in the setting sun. As the long shadows fall in the cooling evening the sun gives its last dance behind the mountains to the West in a magic farewell until morning. Capturing that magical hour as the parting sun casts its rays across the hillside this magical piece is richly vibrant and evocative full of texture and story
