Original Wool Paintings

It has taken me over 10 years of experimentation and learning to develop my own particular take on painting with wool. I love the array of textures and vibrancy that can be achieved through the blending of different fibres and silks. It is a slow art form I find both therapeutic and rewarding, that connects me to the landscape I wish to capture. Many hours of work and reflection go into each piece – from shearing, carding, dying, blending, felting, stitching to produce the final result.
