Thinking of vestiges of our being being rooted in the past experiences and forebearance of those long gone, making us who we are. Like the sedimentary formations of the hills I come from, I am made up of layers of genetic memories and dna of those who paved the way. The layering of wools silks and textures in this piece represent the entwining strings that bind us together. Covid 19 has made me take strength in the longevity of the hills from which I come. The layering of vibrancy and textures is a reflection of the energy I feel standing on such Hallowed Ground.
