‘Embers Of Evening’ is an original wool painting and was made as part of the ‘La Bealtaine – Ar Slieve Gullion’ Caóilfionn’s first solo collection. Made with wool and silks this vibrant Irish landscape sunset burns marking the end of a beautiful day.
A celebration of the last captivating rays of light at the end of a long day that transform the fields and bogs with saturated colours and silhouetting the hills in the setting sun. As the long shadows fall in the cooling evening the sun gives its last dance behind the mountains to the West in a magic farewell until morning.
